Grammar Nazi

I am not a grammar expert but I don't think that I am at it worse than most of the population. I can differentiate your from you're, its and it's(Although I think I am bad at Filipino grammar because I tend to neglect the rules when I speak or write in my native language). I must admit, I cringe a little whenever I read news and feature articles that have lots of grammatical errors in them because those errors should have been caught by the copyreader.
What about the grammatical errors in facebook statuses or tweets? I do not think that it is necessary to comment or tweet back that a person's grammar is wrong especially if you're not good friends with that person. Do you remember how you dislike it when your parents criticize you or scold you in public(if they do)? Or by your boss or significant other? What if that criticism came from someone not close to you,an acquaintance perhaps? You wouldn't like that would you? I'll only typically correct people if I know them well enough, otherwise I come off as kind of a jerk. I also opt to message them personally. I know some people just can't stand bad grammar but you don't have to be a jerk about it. If you cannot stop yourself from correcting someone you barely know, then do so in private. Peace out.:p

P.S.
To the grammar nazis, I wrote this blog using my phone so forgive the typo error.
